Ale brewed with honey, citrus juices, spices & (muscat) grape juice. Wheat, oats and rye provide a luscious creaminess, balanced by the tang of orange, lemon and tangerine and a hint of cool spice.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Promotional cans. Pours a cloudy burnished gold color under a big fizzy head. Does have a smell of tangerine and a bit of grape must, somewhere in the neighborhood of DFH’s Noble Rot. Taste is a little bit of malt, then a load of citrus juice, though without the pulp. A slightly spicy follow-up on top of the usual wheat and rye notes. I guess using oatmeal adds a bit of smoothness that may have helped balance out the tart citrus. Not much hop to speak of, considered against the fruity load, perhaps holding some of its sweetness in check.

1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
355ml can, old rate. This was an utter disaster, what were they even thinking, light citrus and medicine.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Poured with a small off-white short-lived head, no lace and a clear honey amber color. Aroma is fairly simple Caramel and perhaps spice. Flavor is even simpler being mainly carbonic tang, a little grain and not much else. Body is okay. A forgettable beer.
