Commercial Description:
Berghoff Hefe Weizen is a smooth tasting, unfiltered Wheat Beer brewed in traditional Bavarian style, using both Two-Row Barley and Wheat Malt. The cloudy appearance of the Hefe-Weizen is caused by the Vitamin B-Complex carrying top fermented yeast in the finished product.

Gift from my Wisconsin hook up. Thanks Jamie. Hazy golden color with mild citrus aroma followed by a more dominant wheat. A clove and banana taste thin in body but not bad.

I’ve never been a huge fan of their stuff anyway, but this is one of my least favorite hefes for sure.

Grass and ketchup aromas. Appearance is slightly murky golden yellow. Flavors of corn, corn syrup, sharp tomatoey flavors. Odd combination of sweet and dry. Slight chocolaty note on the duration with chalkiness. Thin with almost no head retention. Unusual.

12oz bottle. Macro Hefe aroma wich worsens with the raise in temperature with a cloudy lightish golden orange color. After tasting it, I really have to declare Minhas extremely guilty of the use of adjuncts. What a shitalicious brewery. Still slightly more interesting than Bud Light, you can potentially drink this. The corn and hefe-banana tastes sort of uncomfortably merge, overly sweet. Nothing that a Ratebeerian would ever look forward to.

Semi-cloudy golden body with a thin white head. Aroma is very typical with bananas, bread, and a hint of bubblegum evident. The palate is quite thin, even for a hefeweizen. The flavor is not bad. The yeast and banana and bubblegum flavors are right up front. They are quickly pushed aside by sour citrus. The finish is almost puckering. Not a bad hefe, but not one of my favorites.

Nice full head and sweet wheat taste. Slight Banana hit. Ok with a meal but not very interesting.

Found this at my local shop in the bargain bin. Pours from the bottle a very bright, cloudy yellow with a nice big thick white head with decent carbonation. Aroma is mostly wheat with some light banana background. The beer feels pretty effervescent in your mouth. Flavor of wheat with a light banana flavor following and ending with a very sour citrus note. Overall it’s not bad (and I have had bad from this brewer) but the aroma could be improved a bit. Might be tempted to pick up a sixer next season if the price is right.

Bottle from Grimreeser. Pours a golden with very little haze and pilsner like carbonation, white head. Not a very hefe like appearance. Aroma of lemon and bubblegum. Light to medium bodied, but with a thin texture. Pale wheat malt flavor, with some stale cheap maltiness mixed in as well. Not much banana clove phenols going on. Slight bitterness on the short, slightly sour finish. Sub par
