smoosh (523), New Albany, Indiana, USA Apr 10, 2007 Bottle - nice malty aroma with a touch of Euro-funkiness that is common to the style. Standard Oktoberfest appearance. Deep amber body and a beige head. Flavor is malty and somewhat bready. Mouthfeel is slightly sharp despite a lot of carbonation. This one is decent. No threat to the great German Oktoberfests, but decent.
DuffMan (2194), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Dec 30, 2008 Why do I keep coming back this crap brewer? I will tell you why. It is because I am a beer whore. This pours a bright amber with a solid white cap displaying mediocre retention and no lace. Low aroma of corny malt kissed with caramel. Palate is largely the same. I am thankful that there was no weird chemical traits in this one though. patrick767 (1586), fort wayne, Indiana, USA Nov 27, 2008 bottle - Pours light copper with a one finger white head. It has a mild caramel malt aroma and a taste to match. There’s just a touch of hops in this unremarkable, light bodied brew. It’s not bad. There’s just little to recommend it. IlanMan (658), Winona, Minnesota, USA Oct 20, 2008 Pour was a very light golden with light malt and biscut aroma. Flavor is also light. Needs more malt characters. Also very light hops. CaryTheDude (573), Ripon, Wisconsin, USA Oct 15, 2008 All malt here. Pretty unremarkable. There isn’t much flavor and what flavor there is is annoying. WickerBrew (303), Chicago, Illinois, USA Oct 1, 2008 I am going with a solid 9/20 on this guy. OK taste, it just feels watered down. Or maybe its just regular beer that has orange coloring. Either way, it was ok to have with food but not something i would ever be craving.
