Location: Draft at the The Berghoff, 6/2/14

Aroma: The nose of this one is light, lager malts and yeast
Appearance: It pours a clear golden color without much head or lace to it
Flavor: The flavor is much the same, light, thin, and okay, just not much here
Palate: The body is light and a little thin, there just isn’t too much going on here
Overall Impression: Totally unoffensive beer, and I mean that as neither a compliment or an insult. There just isn’t anything good or bad about. Totally forgettable.

Pours a light copper color with a bland malt flavor. This beer is thin and watery with a tiny sweet flavor. The finish is lightly bitter but lingers with a slight metallic ending. Drank this beer at Billy Goat Tavern in Chicago Navy Pier.

Sweet corny aroma, I found it a bit musty. Clear yellow color. Taste is sweet and somewhat metallic, which happens sometimes when Minhas does your brewing.Easy to drink, since its the first in the sampler.

[on tap as Billy Goat Lager at Billy Goat, Chicago Pier] Slightly metallic and lagery aroma with faint corn and creamy. Eternal pristine cover whose clarity could not be determined in the plastic cup. Sweet creamy malt flavour with some subdued noble hops and weak bitterness that isn’t enough to provide balance. Light to medium body, medium carbonation.

Pours a pale straw with a foamy head. Smells like corn, pilsner malt, noble hops, sugar cereal. Tastes awful. Like frosted flakes soaked in water and made into beer. Way too sweet. Wouldn’t be bad if it wasn’t so sweet. I’d drink PBR over this. Drain pour.
