2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 twindadplus2 (554) - Wisconsin, USA - JUN 5, 2005Bottle. Pale yellow with a thin white head that disappears quickly. Medium bodied with a grassy, piney aroma. Faint malty taste but also some citrus, No hops taste but a touch of hops bitterness at the finish. Not repulsive but there’s certainly much better out there.

[on tap as Billy Goat Lager at Billy Goat, Chicago Pier]
Slightly metallic and lagery aroma with faint corn and creamy. Eternal pristine cover whose clarity could not be determined in the plastic cup. Sweet creamy malt flavour with some subdued noble hops and weak bitterness that isn’t enough to provide balance. Light to medium body, medium carbonation.
1.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 justsayswell (21) - Missouri, USA - DEC 27, 2012
Pours a pale straw with a foamy head. Smells like corn, pilsner malt, noble hops, sugar cereal. Tastes awful. Like frosted flakes soaked in water and made into beer. Way too sweet. Wouldn’t be bad if it wasn’t so sweet. I’d drink PBR over this. Drain pour.

On draft in Chicago’s O’hare airport. Medium to light gold. Aroma lightly bready. Flavor is a match. Hops are very faint, perhaps a touch floral. More than anything else, there is an unfortunate slight sweetness that is sort of distracting. Wish it had been a touch cleaner.
