COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Berghoff Pale Ale is created in the classic American style. It is light copper-colored and medium bodied with a light maltiness. High quality American hops are used to produce this high hop bitterness, flavor and aroma, a must have for true hop aficionados!!! Berghoff Pale Ale is made with Brewer's 2-row Malt, Carapils Malt and domestsic hops.

Deep tan colored with a minimal head. Strong bitter hops aroma. Taste is a lot of hoppy bitterness with little malt finish. All in all, not bad. A little too hoppy for my tastes but then this isn’t my favorite style.

Gold color with a medium head. This actually smells like a pale ale! Lots of hops up front without going into Pine-Sol mode. The taste is a good mix of being hoppy with a malt base. Disturbingly tasty from a brewer I had all but written off.

Medium sized light tan colored head. A light amber body. The aroma is lightly hoppy. Notes of metal and some butter. Also hints of citrus. The taste is a fairly well balanced and light bread and oranges. Some hints of roasted toffee. Nice and light to drink. Very smooth creamy mouthfeel.

The overall score for this beer is a little decieving. It is refreshing, and while it is a bit thin it has enough hop bitterness to keep me interested. Considering it’s great price it is a great intro session pale ale.

Light orange appearance with a small white head. Scents of earthy hops in the nose. Very balanced beer with enough hop flavor and bitterness to satisfy. Easy to drink.

very pale in appearance. minimal taste, could have been smoother and hoppier. what taste was present seemed to clash with each other rather than blend into a nice beer like some other pales.

I’m a tad shocked at the low average score for this. This pale ale was surprisingly good, expecially for a Huber beer. Nice piney, citrisy hop nose. Hop bitterness is not overwhelming, yet slightly piney and sticky. It is by no means robust, but is a rather solid example of the style, albeit a tad thin on the palate.

Light amber color with very little carbonation and no head. Lager like aroma with some hoppyness in the background. Watery mouthfeel. Ample hop bitterness but not real sure what hops are in the flavor. Kind of like accidentaly tasting some hairspray. Goes down easy like the other Berghoff beers. Right for the price.
