Bottle to pint glass. Has an amber appearance. Clear body, sparse head and sparse lacing. Just a basic beer. Kinda sweet, with a light body. I probably wouldn’t buy more, but if it was in a chest of beer, I’d grab one.

Pours light amber with a 1 finger eggshell head that has decent retention. Aroma is straw, toasty grain, yeasty white bread, toffee, caramel, citrus and light floral. Flavor is corny grain, light citrus, straw, light caramel, spice, some vegetal notes, a little skunk and metallic notes. Palate is light bodied with a slightly oily entry, dry finish and light, but sharp carbonation. Not a good APA at all, but not completely terrible.

Pours a light amber color. Aromas of mild malt and citrus hops. Minor hop flavor is balanced with a smooth light malt taste. Watery finish with some hop finish and aftertaste.

Bottle. Clear amber body. Minimal white head. Moderate aroma of toasted grain and caramel with some notes of flowers and sweat. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately bitter, lightly sweet and lightly acidic. Medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. Off-taste of lighter fluid that turns soapy. Little hop presence.

My favorite Wisconsin beer and the best Berghoff. I can see I’m spitting in the ocean with the group-think in play on this site, but if you’re looking for pleasant surprise in a hoppy, crisp, drinkable beer, give Berghoff’s pale another try.

Poured yellow with crisp white head, smells of light grass and hay. Taste is thin with a slight grassy hop start that leads into a hay and caramel like finish with a tiny bitter finish. Very average.

Huge white/tan head crowns a reddish gold color with nice effervesence. Fairly hoppy on the nose with a slight acohol aroma. Creamy on the palate and medium bodied. Nice hoppy flavor, with some nuttiness. Clean, clear finish. Try it with smoked salmon on crackers.

Pour is a nice copper color with a white head. Aroma is a nice mix of hops and malts. The problem is in the flavor. Nothing stands out. Where are the hops? Finishes watery and bland.

Wasn’t too thrilled with this beer. Randomly bought a sixer at a local grocery store and was hoping for the best but I just didn’t care for the flavor of this beer, lacked hops for me.
