2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 frankenkitty (1958) - Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA - JAN 18, 2006
Medium copper, clear, with a small, creamy, white head. Aromas in moderation reveal mild nuttiness, light citrus and slight roast. Mild flavor touches on citric hops with a grainy background. Thin and a little sour with bitters to finish. In a word, "Mild".

2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Juelze (1123) - Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 31, 2005
Pours a copper color with little head. Floral hop and malt aroma had me thinking I was in for a delictable treat! Perhaps a new favorite session beer? Not at all. The floral hop aroma did not lead to a hoppy flavorful beer at all. Very thin and water finish. I’ll pass on this in the future.
2.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20 shorn (6) - USA - OCT 13, 2005 does not count
While living in Wisconsin, this was the best drinking beer for $4.99 a six, and still I find few examples of a decent beer for a decent price.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 reebtogi (2159) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - APR 26, 2012
355ml bottle pours a pale amber color with a 2 finger white head that settled quickly but did reveal some thin spotty lacing. Aroma is light caramel and herbal hops. Taste is quite malty sweet with a mild herbal hop bitterness with a touch of citrus. Light to medium body with some decent carbonation. Just not enough body and hops to pass as a good pale ale, so I recommend a pass on this one.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 17thfloor (2300) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 22, 2007
Lighter amber pour with nice white fluffy head. Malty aroma. Little to no carbonation. Great big hop flavor with carmal malt finish. Would be much better if the carbonation was stronger. Pretty decent for what it is. Could be excellent with some better yeast/sugar.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 dwaggs2 (1178) - Jefferson City, Missouri, USA - MAR 18, 2011
Bottle. Poured a darker amber reddish color with a tiny white head. Did leave plenty of lacing on the glass as it went. Aroma was funky. Not your typical pale ale aroma. Aroma was sweeter. Molasses, corn, and malts. Flavor was very sweet. Carmel, and molasses. No hops what so ever. Very malty and sweet. I don’t know how this is an APA. Drinkable though. Not the worst beer I have had, just not an APA.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Block (864) - West Lafayette, Indiana, USA - MAR 28, 2009
Golden yellow pour with a small white head. Aroma is sweet of malts, light fruits, and some hops. Flavor is also fairly light with some honey and caramel. Slight hop at the finish.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 noncaloric (684) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 20, 2009
Hazy, light amber pour, voluminous off white head that leaves a significant, almost chunky lacing. Aroma is yeasty must and dust with a bit of skunk, quickly fading to nothing. Flavor has a decided hops bitterness to it, but a very slight grapefruit-hops aromatic quality. Malts are lightly caramelized, and also somewhat stale, rubbery quality in the linger. Thin to medium body, the hops an alcohol combine in a nice zest on the palate.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 queenholly (509) - South Whitley, Indiana, USA - MAR 19, 2012
Bottle. Sweet orange and malt aroma. No hops detectable in the aroma. Light amber with a moderate off white head, decent lacing. Light malt and vegetal flavor. No discernible hops flavor. Reminds me more of some Märzens I’ve had.

Like a dim member of a party, this one is just barely enough to keep things going. It’s nothing fantastic, and the only flavor I could pick up on was a sort of metallic-apple-sweetness. Yet, I still wanted to finish my glass of it. If it were a song, it would be called [shoulders raised] "Beers that make ya go ’ehhh.’"
