It is dark brown with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has loads of synthetic strawberry flavour, sweetness and malt. The flavour has sweetness and loads of synthetic strawberry flavour, a light berry acidity and it ends slightly dry. Not really what I expected, but a lot better than the kirsch Porter.

This was very sweet and tatsed of strawberries and not like beer. This was like drinking a fruit juice or strawberry soda as it was sweet from start to finish.

Bottle 50cl.
Clear medium amber red color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is strawberry, strawberry and strawberry. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (100908)

Picked up at Maruhn Getränke in Darmstadt. Pours a dark reddish color. Aromas of artificial strawberries and wheat bread. Flavor of sweet fake strawberries and a sweetness. Medium body with a berry aftertaste. Way to sweet, almost sickening.
Earlier Rating: 10/19/2008 Total Score: 1.5
Picked up at Maruhn Getränke in Darmstadt. Pours a dark reddish color. (Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Hildigöltur. Clear orangey brown with an off-white head. Distinct strawberry aroma - very intense. Light body with extremely sweet strawberry notes, artificial no doubt but quite yummy nonetheless. But the base porter completely vanishes in the strawberry flavouring. No bitterness. 100908
