Ungstrup (11930), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 24, 2005 [Cask at GBBF 2004] An amber beer with no head. Both the aroma and flavor are sweet with the totally dominating note being hops. argo0 (6334), Washington DC, USA Apr 4, 2004 Murky amber topped by a medium beige froth. Aroma is mild, caramel, earthy. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, caramel, light lemon/tang, mild pine finish. Light-medium watery body. Pleasant beer. duff (5407), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Aug 17, 2004 Cask@GBBF04’. Caramelly stickyness to start, with some tea like hops in the finish, some citrusy, grassy notes in the finish, not bad, but unexciting Hildigöltur (5055), København Ø, Denmark Aug 12, 2004 [Cask conditioned] Amber coloured. Fruity aroma. The flavour is rather sweet, fruity and malty with grassy notes. Slightly thin. hopdog (4950), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 23, 2006 22oz bottle acquired in trade with jjpm74 (thanks!). Poured a deep orange color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of oranges, grapefruits, light pine, light caramel and lightly floral. Tastes of caramel with some citrus. The aromas where stronger citrus with light caramel where the tastes where the complete opposite. After drinking for a little bit, I was also getting some toasted malts. Body a tad on the thin side. This one was a nice surprise!
