This dark ale combines the taste of real organic coffee with out popular Drayman's Porter. The robust coffee flavor comes vis a special coffee extract made for us exclusively by Dean's Beans, New Salem MA.

Usual cola brown porter appearance. Roasted and fairly sweet with a deliciously thick mouthfeel. Solid stuff and reasonably priced. Only fault is I wished for a little more coffee presence.

if you were to eat out a coffee bean, while getting a foot rub and asian school girls fanned you with giant leaves than you would get what this beer is like. This is the bee’s knees, the cream of the crop, the tits.

From a bomber. Pours dark brown with a bubbly beige head. Tastes like roasted coffee beans, earth, bitter burnt toast, subtle sweet cocoa. Light body and low carbonation. Smells sweet roasted gains, light booze, earth, and dry cocoa.

Bottle. Pours deep, dark brown with creamy beige head. Aroma is chocolate, roasted malts, light coffee, light raisin and fig, and faint vanilla. Flavor is rich chocolate, medium earthy bitterness, faint coffee, and faint dark fruit sweetness; dry, chocolate finish. Medium body and carbonation.

22 Oz bottle. Pours black with a thick tan head. The coffee aroma comes through. Creamy mouthfeel with a nice balance of malt and coffee. Lots of coffee flavor which I like but not overly bitter as with other coffee stouts or porters. It is a little thinner than I was expecting. Porter is one of my favorite styles and this is an excellent one.

This is my go to beer when the brewery I go to doesn?t have a house beer for me. It?s a nitro beer and has a smooth feel.

22oz bomber - Poured in a tulip glass. Coffee House Porter pours a chestnut brown with creamy tan head. All your usual suspects for aroma; dry bakers chocolate and roasted barley, brownies, and coffee. Drinks just as it should for the style, sweet malty upfront and dry and acidic in the back but with lush bursts of coffee in every sip. I enjoyed this.

Reviewed from notes. The appearance is a dark brown/black body with a two finger foamy white head rises and gently subsides leaving some nice lightly foamy clingy lacing that eventually spider webs a bit. The smell has espresso coffee, light chocolate, and some vanilla comes out as the beer warms. The taste is bittersweet through the coffee and chocolate, vanilla is way more subdued with a malty aftertaste. The palate is about a medium to heavy, shows a rich and smooth, sticky sweet finish, not as sessionable - good sipper. Overall, this is probably one of the heavier porters out there. I still liked it, coffee forward - yes, but also has some nice complexities that come out to play, under-rated company - yes, awesome price $3.99 for a bomber.
