22oz bomber - Poured in a tulip glass. Coffee House Porter pours a chestnut brown with creamy tan head. All your usual suspects for aroma; dry bakers chocolate and roasted barley, brownies, and coffee. Drinks just as it should for the style, sweet malty upfront and dry and acidic in the back but with lush bursts of coffee in every sip. I enjoyed this.

Reviewed from notes. The appearance is a dark brown/black body with a two finger foamy white head rises and gently subsides leaving some nice lightly foamy clingy lacing that eventually spider webs a bit. The smell has espresso coffee, light chocolate, and some vanilla comes out as the beer warms. The taste is bittersweet through the coffee and chocolate, vanilla is way more subdued with a malty aftertaste. The palate is about a medium to heavy, shows a rich and smooth, sticky sweet finish, not as sessionable - good sipper. Overall, this is probably one of the heavier porters out there. I still liked it, coffee forward - yes, but also has some nice complexities that come out to play, under-rated company - yes, awesome price $3.99 for a bomber.

Pours black with a copper head. Smell of coffee and burnt toast. Creamy mouth feel with a nice touch of carbonation. Malt forward with a dry slightly sour finish. Great beer to enjoy on a cold day. Cheers! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pour is dark brown with a beige head. Aroma and flavor are both huge coffee, there really isn’t much else. Slightly bitter finish, smooth, but thin.

Strong aroma of coffee malts. Oaky flavor backed by roasted malt and lots of coffee. Medium body. Really nice coffee porter.

Pours black with off white head. Nice slightly subtle coffee aroma. Medium body, a bit thinner than expected based on the pour. Coffee is well integrated.

22oz bomber thanks to WillRunForBeer! Pours a thin chestnut brown color with a finger of foamy tan head. Aroma of instant coffee, caramel, and milk chocolate. Taste of watered down instant coffee, chocolate, light ash, and butterscotch.

Aroma of dark roast coffee. Press thin black with a small white film. Tastes like delicious ground coffee and a hint of chocolate cake. Light mouthfeel. Very good.

22oz bottle. Pours black into snifter, 2 finger head fades fast. Nose is vanilla, coffee beans. Mouthfeel is thin and watery. Needs more body. Taste is big dark coffee up front, vanilla notes, chocolate syrup. Finish is bitter smokey coffee which doesn’t last long. Doesn’t leave an impression. Good, but not special.
