22 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy gold with a moderate white head that lasted through the first two sips and left very light lace. The aroma is weak malt along with some restrained grassy hops. The flavor is malt followed by some grassy hops with some mild-moderate bitterness. Ever-so-slightly sweet. A nice bready flavor emerges in the aftertaste. Crisp at the finish and spot on for the style. Good stuff.

This beer is grassy hoppy, yet smooth tasting. It leaves you craving for another sip. The malt flavors are tingling, yet sweet and easily drinkable. It is the perfect flavor, with a nice dry finish. I am from the local area, and every Berkshire beer I have tried is better than average if not on the verge of greatness.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
I drank this in a hotel room and had to drink from a clear plastic cup, came from a 22 oz. bottle I got at a package store in Enfield, CT. Paid $4.33. Nose was cereal grains, malt and some mild hops. The bottle had time to warm on my drive and check- in to the hotel and I got to say, the flavor was nice. Very good balance between malt and hops, a short, crisp finish. Lots of grass notes. Decent flavor here. I would buy and drink again if I’m looking for a lighter summer beer.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
22oz Bottle, shared at RIFT. Gentle, soft light hoppy aroma. Flavors were very clean and light, but there was a lack of snappy, fresh, crispness to the beer, either in pils malt or hops. It had a certain slickness to it that I could never get over. Fresh and clean, but not stunning, unfortunately.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
a 22oz bomber bought on a hot summer night. Enjoyed from a proper pilsner glass. Bright blond colored beer with a pure white 4 finger head. a steady carbonation rising through the glass the whole way. The aroma is grainy, slight sweet and peppery. The taste was missing when first poured because of how cold it was. But as she warmed a little I was getting some very nice rich grain with grassy hops and even a mustard green like taste. A good example of really the plainest classic beer style there is.

Best by of 12/22/11. 22 oz bomber into a tall pilsner glass...finally get to rock an actual pilsner in this glass! A - Really dark golden brown/yellow body. Super fluffy white head that breaks apart into chunks. Loads of bubbles. S - Bready malts, cereal grains and some mild hops. Fairly one dimensional. This is the only flaw I found in this beer. T - Really nice creaminess and bubbly texture. Rich malty bread, some sweetness and just the perfect amount of hop bittterness at the end to tie it all together. This is really delicious. Its also worth noting that I cracked this about 45 minutes after I bought it so its warmed up a slight bit. Still amazingly drinkable. O - Perfect. Summer. Beer. This might just be my new favorite summer seasonal. Its so simple, crisp, clean and refreshing. 22 oz of summer! Another winner from BBC.
