COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Light-bodied ale which features a pale gold color. Its crisp, clean malt flavor makes this a perfect refreshing summer quaff. This German style ale is brewed with imported malt, hops, and an authentic Kolsch yeast strain

22oz. Not my favorite BBC offering, however this can be categorized as a great lawnmower beer. Clean light golden color, nice lacing and white head, good carbonation. Citrusy and light, goes down like a Kolsch should, balanced. If they didn’t make the hefeweizen, this one would have been my go to summer local big bottle. Would wanna try it on tap, but alas you never see it. For me only the Captain Lawrence Kolsch is better.

bottle poured a light golden yellow in color with a thin covering of white head. aroma has slightly sweet malt, some grains, and a mellow German hop profile. mouth feel is crisp with plenty of carbonation. flavor is refreshing, increased hop profile, mild bitterness, caramel malt, and I get the kolsch yeast strain.

Slightly cloudy light yellow with a white head. Musty aroma. Sharp carbonation hides a danky taste. Too excited to please.

Grainy and light malt aroma. Cloudy dark orange color with a small white head. Sweet beginning with a light sour and bitter finish.

Thanks to Gord for hooking me up with this bottle. Pours a murky light golden almost a pale yellow color with a thick white head. Aroma is of malts, yeast, banana, and hops. Flavor is very similar with hops taking the front and some yeast in the back end. Leaves a slightly stale malt finish.

Pours hazy yellow/gold into a shaker. White head quickly recedes to hug rim. Sweet caramel aromas. Soft with fruity yeast from front to back. Mild medium length fruit finish. More wheaty than crisp....

On tap at Flat Street Brew Pub. Pale yellow body with slight head. Nose of fruits and citrus. Taste is hoppy with some fruit and spicy flavours too. But quite light and weak overall.

Draught: This one poured a clear, yellow gold color. It had a fair sized white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was nice, but a little mild. Notes of malts and grassy hops. It had a very clean taste to it. Some malts and light fruit flavors. Very refreshing.

Bright but flat golden color. Finger of thin head that melts quickly. Has a nice, promising haze. Looks good. The smell is a cross between a light blond ale and a typical pub ale. Has a mild hint of lemon. Seems to have some pale malts. Again, not bad. The taste is a nice, sweet & fruity first sip; lemons and (blue)berries. Light and refreshing; sweet but with a bready malt base. Well-balanced. A very solid golden ale flavor with pale malts. Like a light juice; a bit of thickness, but smooth enough. Absolutely the perfect consistency for summer. A major summery triumph. Flavor is nice, repeats required.

From a 22 oz bottle this poured a cloudy gold with a white head and average lacing. Nose is of caramel malts with some citrus. Medium mouthfeel. Flavor is strong in the malts with some light spices. Light and sort of bland finish. This is overall drinkable but very unremarkable.
