Good with pizza. I suppose itís got the hops to make this feel somewhat like an IPA, but itís almost TOO balanced. Reminds me of their regular ale, just weaker, and to be honest, a bit easier to drink.

This one was a gusher and nearly exploded all over my keyboard! Pours a copper body with a tall tan head. VERY carbonated! Aroma is sort of earthy and hoppy. Some fruity notes as well. The taste is mildy hopped with more earthy notes and light spice. Some sweeter flavors come through randomly in spots and make this a very pleasant tasting beer. The mouthfeel is surprisingly smooth and lacking the bitterness and oily body I was expecting. The finish seems to be more of the earth tones and spice. Very drinkable! I can see this going well with seafood, for some reason.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Iím thinking Cascades and lots of them. Pours with a froth, full white head, slightly hazy orange colored. Aroma is floral, and piney with malty sweetness. Flavor is earthy, like old cut grass and trigs. Creamy bodied. Balanced finish. Very Good IPA.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pour looks like any other average IPA. White fluffy head. Taste is hoppy and crisp but not much of a bite. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. Decent stuff.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 12/20
Nice head, fair color; strange, unfamiliar aroma. Flavor is a blend of coffee and over-ripe fruit; fortunately, this fades to a malty aftertaste after 20 seconds or so. In sum, this beer is appropriately named: The "lost" sailor is no accident!

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cloudy copper color with a thick white head. Sweet apricot floral aroma. Taste was a nice hoppy bitter, full bodied and creamy smooth. A better rendition of an East Coast IPA.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Murky orange with a lasting tan head. THis is not an in your face American IPA, so don't expect it. Noble hop aroma. Flavor is well balanced, with a good dose of hops and a nice carmel/amber malt flavor that reminds me of good English examples. I like this more than others...so don't expect to like it as much as me.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Weak Ipa. Orangey color. It was a very subtle hop flavor. Well balanced with malt and hops. Not bad. Ok beer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Different for an IPA. Golden bronnze pour with a fair head. Big fruity aroma, apricot, pear and juicy fruit chewing gum come to mind. Flavor is sweet and watery. The fruity flavors hold through out with out much bittering. I'm looking for more hop flavor in my IPA's. Not bad, just different.
