On tap. I think this one was from an older keg. Flavors were off from what I know they should be. Hops were mellow and bland. Drinkable, but not up to snuff with what this beer should be.

Bottle. copper colored pour. Medium citrus hops, leafy bitterness, sweet caramel maltiness, light garden weeds. Medium bitterness, balanced but needs more hop bite
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Reynolds314 (1543) - Connecticut, USA - JUL 1, 2011
An OK IPA. Light malts, light hops, light bitterness. The taste is floral hops with light notes of citrus. Drinkable but very boring.

Thanks to HikerCT for the bottle. Served in a Hill Farmstead tulip.
Pours a hazy orange-copper with a single-finger white head and some spotty lacing as it goes down. The nose carries some light floral hops and some bread, though there’s also a bit of solventy character. Slight, but noticeable. The flavor is along the same lines, though the solvent character is mostly gone, thankfully. The mouthfeel is the redeeming aspect, as there’s a nice amount of dry bitterness after swallowing the medium-bodied brew. Light to moderate carbonation. Not a bad beer, though not something I’d seek out again.

Sample. A decent, generic IPA. Nothing really jumped out at me as especially good or bad. An OK session beer.

Bomber. Pours a dark orange/light copper with a soft fluffy head that dissipated into a film on top. A floral aroma is upfront with strong malt back bone. British hops, grass, and very slight bubblegum(original flavor bubbletape) follow on the nose. The taste is very malt forward with some piney/floral notes hiding. Slightly bitter hops rise mid palate which lead into a sweet malty finish with some lingering bitterness. British all the way.

Bottle shared by mtjoseph. Pour is clear copper orange with a small ring of bubbles around the edge of the glass. Some citrus like orange, grassy hops, and some caramel in the aroma. Interesting blend of sweet caramel and bitterness. Not necessarily good, but interesting none the less. Some floral notes in the tastes, caramel, and a strange spice characteristic. Somewhat sticky texture. Too bitter with not enough balance. Thanks mark!

An IPA that doesn’t feel like an IPA. What are we to do with this? Pours a dark golden with a slight hint of grapefruit. Leaves a lot of lacing in the glass. Subtle hop expression which confuses me. I don’t drink IPA’s to look for subtle. Fairly thin mouthfeel the taste disappears quickly.

On tap at the Flat Street "brewery" in Vermont. Not so much for me on this one--a little too sweet, over-carbonated and an off-sour finish (dirty tap lines perhaps?).

Hazy amber/orange color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of floral hops, caramel malt, & citrus; Flavor of malt, pine hops, caramel, and citrus (notably orange); Finish is slightly bitter; Overall, not that bad.
