BuckNaked (1204), Tempe, Arizona, USA Jul 6, 2005 22oz bottle: Slightly hazy yellow with a medium white head, nice lacing, that lasts for the duration of the beer. Aroma is mild hops - light citrus, buttery pine, grass, and a hint of caramel and grain. Taste is pretty much the same - mild citrus, grass, medium bitter hops, with notes of caramel, and sweet grains. The grains come out more in the flavor, with a nice clean and crisp grain taste, not a bad mealy grain taste. Light-medium bodied, medium carbonation, good round mouthfeel, balanced. tiggmtl (4307), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Jun 14, 2005 Mild, sweet grainy aroma offers light citrus hops. Opaque milky-yellow coloured body with creamy, white, fine-bubbled head that recedes to partial cover and dots the glass with lace. Mild citrus hops over lightly grainy malts with light bitterness in the finish. Moderate carbonation to the medium-light body. Somewhat syrupy. Sampled at Mondial de la Bičre 2005. paul9639 (116), New Hampshire, USA May 27, 2005 on tap. poured light yellow, with a decent head. Could not distinguish a. aroma. The flavor was faint lemons. Crisp and refreshing, but very forgettable. BennyTicklez (621), USA May 21, 2005 Pours hazy yellow, almost urine color. Aroma is malty and thats about it. Taste is corn? and slight malt. No real hop presence to speak of. Overall, a very weak pale ale. cfranz (261), Acton, Massachusetts, USA May 4, 2005 Pours a golden yellow with a decent head. Tastes very crispy, light lemon aftertaste. Slight hop, sweet malt. Had this beer from a growler. steerpike (28), Greenfield, Massachusetts, USA Apr 19, 2005 Yellow-gold and quite clear. Filtered. Small aroma. Very refreshing, easy-drinking beer with no fireworks but no offense either. Crisply dry, lightly malty, a bit of citrus, nutty, and with a strange, almost salty, flavor. Seems to be on tap at 99.9% of local bars in W. Mass. I really only bother to get this when out at a dive with no better options. ericnixon (719), Northampton, Massachusetts, USA Apr 7, 2005 On tap at Woodbridge’s in South Hadley, MA. Clear gold color that was reminiscent of BudCoorsMiller. No aroma I could discern (and I spent a while sniffing it). Very smooth mouthfeel with a rather interesting absence of taste. The huge drifty-in burst of malty/nutty flavor that came in the lingeringly aftertaste was really nice, but overall it was kind of weak. tritiger1970 (3), USA does not count Mar 28, 2005 Liked the color and it had excellent taste. First tried this beer while traveling thruogh Woodstock Vermont and fell in love with it but i cannot get this beer in the area that i live.
