Pours a dark amber color. Aroma and flavor of hops and caramel. Light to medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation.

From a 64 oz. growler picked up at the brewery. Pours a golden yellowish amber in color. Starts out with a nice head that lingers. Tastes more like a lager than an ale. Sweet start, bitter malty finish. Not bad, but not great. I hope the others I brought home with me from this brewery are more memorable.

Bottle. How is this an APA? Tastes to me like a pinsner. Light color, dough aroma. If I didn’t know better, I’d say it looked and maybe even tasted, a bit like Harp. No real hop taste and not sweet. Just not my kind of beer.

Simple, easy drinking ale with a flavor that is reminiscent of something elusive - brain far too dead to recall. Perhaps just a combined memeory of the flavor of numerous brewpub ales from years ago. Not bad, and would have another, just wouldn’t seek it out.

Update on 10/6/2007 - Bomber. Poured a golden yellow in color with almost no head and low carbonation. Aroma s malty and slightly skunked. Flavor is also malty. Palate is good. Still an OK beer. Draft at VT Brewers Fest - Golden yellow with a decent white head that hung in there. Aroma is slightly of hops with some faint citrus as well. Flavor is light with a small amount of hops. Easy drinking, but nothing that remarkable. Certainly better than the macro-swill, but just OK. 5/1/05 - Bomber - Another try... Pours a darkish amber in color with a white head that faded to the rim of the glass. Aroma is more malty than I remember and the hops not as pronounced. Flavor is a nutty malt with a mild hop bitterness. Also much more pleasant than I remember. Slightly sour/citrus. Not bad and easy drinking... I am glad that I tried this again.

This is micro-brew session beer and nothing more. Thought it was great in high school -- finally a "good beer" i could drink in a way I could drink bud. Don’t expect anything special from this, but I suppose it’s hard to find too much wrong with it, as long as you’re not looking for something to change your life.

A fine pale ale. Light amber with a full white head and lacing. Lemon citrus in the nose. Good malt and hop balance, full-bodied. Falls apart a bit if it stays too long in the glass, so don’t let that happen!

Had a pint (draft) in Montana’s Steak House in Northampton MA with, among other things, a filet mignon. The brew was fun, didn’t seem to take itself too seriously, looked great (yellow) and had a sweet start and sweet finish. Also a dry finish, not oily. A bit fizzy, but I don’t usually drink fizzy’s. Nowhere near as good as any of the Dogfish Head PAs, but considering what the restaurant had to offer, their best selection, and had I not split a bottle of vino with the missus, I would have had a few more.
