Good malt and hop balance, full-bodied. Falls apart a bit if it stays too long in the glass, so don’t let that happen! glider (53), Shrub Oak, New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 30, 2004 Had a pint (draft) in Montana’s Steak House in Northampton MA with, among other things, a filet mignon. The brew was fun, didn’t seem to take itself too seriously, looked great (yellow) and had a sweet start and sweet finish. Also a dry finish, not oily. A bit fizzy, but I don’t usually drink fizzy’s. Nowhere near as good as any of the Dogfish Head PAs, but considering what the restaurant had to offer, their best selection, and had I not split a bottle of vino with the missus, I would have had a few more. beaconstreet (811), Washington DC, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 11, 2004 Toned and golden, with many bubbles. What does it taste like? That flavor punctuation rings on your taste buds... then you have it: Lucky Charms! The beer tastes just like Lucky Charms, with its mix of sugar and grain tastes. Nice, sweet aftertaste that lingers with joy. Also a mild honey overtone. A medium-light color, gold but not domineering. MaiBockAddict (1499), Good Beer Bar Deprived, New Jersey, USA

I liked the aroma a lot for a pale ale. I think it was a bit fruity, a bit flowery, and dry. The taste is nothing special but it's very good for a pale ale. Just a bit of hoppiness adds a nice finish. Good with food. ClarkVV (3578), Allston, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 22, 2003 Bottle. Hazy light golden with some deeper maize colored tones. Smells of lots of grain/yeast, mildly sour with some dry barley on the aroma. Opens up moderately sweet but has a light buttery/hay flavored hops appeal. Light body. Low carbonation. Somewhat watery. Finish reminds me of a papery, flowery hops, with a touch of bitterness.
