A golden ale with a thin white head. A rather strong aroma of boiled sweet vegetables, carrots, diacety notes. In mouth, a light honey malt, a bit of hops, very boring. On tap at Flat Street Brewpub, Brattleboro, August 2 2009.

Tap at Northampton Brewing Company. Hazy pale golden beer with a creamy white head. Aroma is very faint, light pale malt, a bit of diacetyl as well. Dusty/wheaty aroma in back. Flavour is okay, but pretty standard. Light pale malt, a touch of breadiness. Meh… pretty boring really.

Yellow pour. Grainy, malty, bready and light hop aroma. Pale hops and grainy as hell. Not enjoyable for me.

On-tap at Northampton Brewery. I am liking this Berkshire brewery as their product is above-average from the four I have tried. I could not get an aroma because of the chlorine used to clean the glass. Their was a light pale colour. The taste was very decent for a pale. Refreshing and crisp.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Leighton (6973) - London, ENGLAND - FEB 19, 2013
Tap at Mass MoCA during the Jeff Mangum concert. Pours mostly clear gold with a small, white foam head. It’s a very simple beer, lots of bready malts, mellow bitterness, some caramel and ripe orange. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Basic, sweet malty finish, suggestions of pine and citrus, lots of pale bread. It’s an easy-drinking beer but certainly quite restrained.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Cletus (6182) - Connecticut, USA - JAN 23, 2005
From a 64 oz. growler picked up at the brewery. Pours a golden yellowish amber in color. Starts out with a nice head that lingers. Tastes more like a lager than an ale. Sweet start, bitter malty finish. Not bad, but not great. I hope the others I brought home with me from this brewery are more memorable.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Dogbrick (6058) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - SEP 8, 2005
Acquired via trade. Light amber color with a medium off-white head and stringy lacing. Malt and some floral hops in the nose. Medium body with mild bitterness, sweet malt and hops along with a bit of fruit flavoring. None of the flavors is very assertive but it is a refreshing concoction. The finish is dry and hoppy. Pretty simple overall and it would make a very good lawnmower beer.
