From notes @ sierra. I had no idea what to expect from this one, but excited since I love one-off BBC’s. Pours out a very cloudy hazy golden hue, decent white head. Aromas were ripping banana and clove, almost a little concentrated, very spicy. Palate is cloying and confusing, very thick, the citrus is present only up front and finishes very bitter. As I continue to sip and it warms up, it gets smoother, but still a rough beer. Glad to have, but don’t need again.

Had this during the Backwoods Brewdown up at Hill Farmstead. Thought this was a neat idea since it’s 100% wheat. Fuzzy wheat, musk on the nose. Sweet, big wheat flavors. Light musk and faint sweetness.

EBF 2010 Session One: Slightly hazy light golden pour with an off white head. Hoppy aroma- quite clean with a citrusy C-hop presence. Light body with a clean worty flavor. A bit boring with a grainy finish. They should have used a Hefeweizen yeast and not such a clean strain, in my opinion.
