A very well rounded bock. On the sweet side. Not very rich or exciting, but a good winter-warmer. Some fruit - apples, but maybe the apples was a bit...too old.

Aug 8, 2008 (6/18/08) Draught at Bräustübl in Berlin. Listed as "Bockbier". Clear, maybe a tad hazy, golden with a big white head. Aroma of malt and some caramel. Very sweet flavor with malt, sugariness, some caramel and maybe some very faint hints of alcohol. Medium-bodied. A bit too sweet but still an OK bock.

Clear deep golden color, fluffy off-white head. Sweet grainy scent. Sweet, malty and alcohol taste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Jun 9, 2008 Draught at Bräustübl, Friedrichshafen, Berlin, Germany. Deep clear golden with medium off-white head. Caramelly malt aroma with some light burnt sugar notes and a touch of alcohol. Medium bodied and smooth. Dry finish.

Sep 26, 2007 Bottled. An amber beer with an OK light orange head. The aroma is sweet and very fruity combined with notes of caramel. The flavor has a somewhat dusty hoppy note on a sweet malty and fruity back ground, leading to a dry bitter and slightly alcoholic finish.
