DSG (867), Yuvalim, Israel Aug 8, 2008 (6/18/08) Draught at Bräustübl in Berlin. Not exactly "schwarz" in color, more like deep amber-brown, with a medium beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, maybe a bit of molasses. Sweetish flavor with roastiness, dark bread hints and later some light bitterness. Medium-bodied. Not bad. sebletitje (372), Tampa, Florida, USA Jul 29, 2008 On tap at the brewery.

Taste of dark fruits (cherries / prunes) and light caramel malts and a little hoppy. yespr (6889), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jul 25, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown, yet visible, with an orange glare and a dense, creamy and light tan head. Dark aroma of overripe fruit and roasted malt - towards breadish. Flavour is dry breadish at first. Light liqourice note arising out of this together with a mild fruity note. Ends breadish and mildly bitter. gnoff (2831), Göteborg, Sweden Jun 11, 2008 (Draught at Bräustübl, Friedrichshafen, Berlin, Germany) On June 6, 2008 Clear dark brown color, thick lasting tan head. A bit acidic taste, slight roasted malt and also rye bread. Acidic scent, perhaps on its way of getting old? Smooth but almost thin mouthfeel. Low bitterness.
