Fresh hops aroma mixed with banana, lemon, and a caramelly diacetyl that reminds me of a British ale. Clear dark gold with a nice white cover with lace. Boring, thin flavour: weak maltiness with just a hint of fresh hops and moderate bitterness. Light body, medium carbonation, quite a bit of lasting bitterness in the finish. DSG (867), Yuvalim, Israel Aug 8, 2008 (6/18/08) Draught at Bräustübl in Berlin. Golden with a big and quite consistent white head. Aroma of some malt but mostly dominated by nice grassy hops. Sweetish flavor with malt, light caramel and bread notes. Finishes Bitter and hoppy. Medium-bodied. A decent Pils. gnoff (2825), Göteborg, Sweden Jun 11, 2008 (Draught at Bräustübl, Friedrichshafen, Berlin, Germany) On June 6, 2008 Clear deep golden color, fluffy lasting white head. Malty dry bready scent, some sourdough. Distinct rye smell also. A bit moussy mouthfeel, otherwise medium. Medium bitterness. ekstedt (1954), Göteborg, Sweden Jun 9, 2008 Draught at Bräustübl, Friedrichshafen, Berlin, Germany. Deep clear golden, medium white head. Grainy malt aroma with some grassy hops. Good balance with medium bitterness. More like a Dortmuder/Helles than a pils. MiP (6018), Flensburg, Germany Feb 21, 2008 Bottle, 5.0%. Clear golden colour, stable white head. Bready aroma and flavour. Medium bitterness, quite clean. OK pils.
