Bottle. Medium-sweet aroma with mild grain, fruit, and biscuit. Clear range-amber with a lacing white head. Crisp and bitter taste with acidity and a little metal. Fruitiness mixes with wth the bitterness, more apple and berry. Sweet around the edges. Chalky/dusty mouthfeel, dry end. Soft, creamy, and mildly spicy middle. Slight floral hops. Some ale elements. I like this a lot!

Bottle....It pours yellow with a large white head.....The aroma is grass, sweet and malts.....The flavor is also grassy, sweet, and malty......nice bitter finish.

Dieses Bier ist im Glas ansehnlich der Körper ist mittelblond und hat schön viele CO² Kügelchen, die Schaumkrone hält auch recht gut. Der Geschmack ist süßlich-malzig, hopfig, der Nachgeschmack ist dazu noch etwas herb. Es ist schwer dieses Bier zu beschreiben es schmeckt anders als ich es bis zu diesem Test kannte. Ich empfinde es als etwas Besonderes und daher testenswertes. Fazit: Dafür, dass es eigentlich ein Bier aus dem Billigsortiment ist, ist es sehr interessant! Bottle, 0,5l. Pours dark pale yellow clear. With decent lasting head. Aromas, sweet malts, grains, floral hops. Palate is thin watery with maltiness balanced with mild dry hoppiness and a hints of citrusy mouth feel from carbonation. Aftertaste is medium long and dry, quite ok with some lasting bitter hops finish. Quite drinkable lager beer, nothing special though.

Bottle. Clear golden/yellow colour with a white head. Aroama and flavour of hops, caramel and grassy with a bitter finish.

Pirosas mély arany szín, közepes méretű laza fehér hab, mely egészen kitartó. Illatában a megszokott füves német komló dominál, ízében ehhez finom kenyeres, malátás íz, illetve kevés élesztő társul, amely főként utóízében érezhető. Közepesen testes és hasonlóan száraz ez az egyszerű berlini sör. Szerintem sincs vele semmi gond, teljesen iható, jó lenne ennyiért nálunk is hasonlót kapni.

On tap at Zug um Zug bar, S-Bahn station Rathaus Spandau. Dark golden coloured, medium sized white head, dusty grassy nose. Just few streams of carbonation. Moderate malty and grassy with notes of brewing cereals in rather bitter finish. Drinkable but overall pretty ordinary beer.

Tükrösen vöröses arany árnyalatú a színe és közepes méretű fehér habja vékonyan megmarad a tetején. Illata édes és kissé fűszeres. Kóstolása csípősen és édes, karamellás ízzel indul, melyhez a középső részben enyhe füves komló és savanykás élesztő társul. Csípős és közepesen száraz, malátás befejezését citrusokat ill. kétszersültet idéző, finoman kesernyés ízek kísérik. Kellemes, könnyen iható és megfelelően kiegyensúlyozott német láger.

Herb-würziger Antrunk. Etwas herb, stark würzig-malzig werdend. Etwas wässrig, herb, wenig hopfig. Herb-süßlicher Ausklang mit leichtem Malzeinfluss. Test vom 13.8.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,10,11,11,9,11 - 10,45

Michael Jackson wrote of this as a good dortmunder-style beer, but that was a decade ago now. Today, it’s deep gold-amber. Relatively bready (wonderbready) aroma. Basically a light, vaguely caramelly macrobrew. Not the first Berliner beer I’ve encountered that isn’t what it used to be.
