Bottled. Golden coloured. Malty aroma. Soft malty flavour with some bitterness in the finish.

From BA (Jan 2007): Brown 0.5 litre bottle bought in Berlin and flown home to the UK for this tasting session. Golden pilsner/German Export colour, poured into my Veltins tulip glass, which is my standard German beer tasting glass. Good white foaming head, like most Exports/pilsners it does not stay for very long. No real aroma, barley and wheat maybe. Pilsner taste more than Export to me, still nice and refreshing, but no hint of the 5.5% strenght. Slightly disappointing mouthfeel which in turn effects the drinkability score. I would love to try this next to the Berliner Kindl Pilsner, so I could compare them. To sum up, nothing wrong with this beer but no great shakes either.

Bottle. Yellow colour with a white head. Aroma and flavour of hops, malt and alcohol.

The aroma is alcohol and acidic and sour malt. The taste is the same, the finish is dry. Not completely undrinkable ... only almost!

Light yellow and clear. Has a white head, mostly lasting. Aroma is moderate malty, light bread. Light hoppy notes too. Flavor is moderate sweet. notes of chardbord, chalk. Watery texture.

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Short light bitter finish. OIly palate. Soft and nice and slightly boring.

Pale golden with a small white head. Aroma of malt, grain and DMS vegetables. Thin and sweet malty flavour with a hint of alcohol.

Pours yellow with a white head. Aroma is crisp malt, hay and grassy hop. Flavour is malt and grassy hop.

Bottle. pours a clear yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is weak with malt and notes of DMS. The flavor is malt with notes of alcohol. The palate is dry. Overall an average beer.
