2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
06/03 0.5 l bottle. It poured golden body with medium sized head. Quite boring industrial aroma, cooked vegetables and some herbal hops. Light and watery flavor, slightly bitterish, and also sweetish in a strange grainy, even slightly unpleasant vegetable way. Shorter bittersweet finish. Might be a bit warm for tasting but definitely isn’t something good. They should really make something better for their Jubilee.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle from the Kaisers near Brauhaus Mitte, thanks Žarko for sharing! Poured a yellow-gold pale body. Eggy, vegetabley nose. Dry grainy, woody taste, slightly eggy. Not all that impressive, no.

500 ml can. Pale golden and crystal clear. Small off-white head. Weak floral hops aroma with notes of oily malts. Sharp bitterness initially then metallic notes. Body is rather thin and there is quite a bit of bitterness in there. Rather bland and uninteresting.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
300ml vom fass at Berliner Fernsehturm Restaurant. Just the right place and the right beer to start a few days visit to Berlin. Clear, light straw coloured body with a tiny white head leaving spotty lace on the glassware. Gentle aroma of pale malt. Pale malty flavour with a grainy touch. Dry citric aftertaste developing into a bittersweet end. Smooth oily palate. Medium bodied. Very refreshing. Prime example of the style (Berlin, 20.11.2009).

3.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
got this bottle around the corner from my Hotel Artist Riverside, Mitte, Berlin.in outdoor cooler at a kiosk on the street. Poured with a big white foamy fluffy head and lots of lace. Color is a bright clear yellow gold. Aroma was immediately skunky over grain, malt, hops, and a little spice. Flavor left the skunk behind - and turned out pretty good! Real as a matter of fact. Just enough malty sweetness to be alluring with just enough hoppy bitterness to balance and keep it clean and satifying. Big barley grain finish with some hops. Definitely a session.
