Palme (3385) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAR 29, 2011
Tap @ Alt-Berliner Biersalon. Pours a clear yellow body with a big fluffy head. Almost no aroma what so ever. Medium carbonated and light-bodied. Tastes notes of grains, malts with a thin, but lasting bitter finish. Quite alright compared to many others German’s pilsners I’ve had.

Grima (2099) - Saarburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - JAN 21, 2011
Starts dominant malty, almost no trace of hops. But this changes, however, to the center part! It gets much more bitter, but it does not even pushing. Good average beer, but in my opinion, not a typical Pils.

Ecco una pilsner tedesca che mi è garbata. Che c’entra non c’è da gridare al miracolo, però bella floreale al naso e un buon finale in bocca.

kegelstumpf (2) - Baden-Württemberg, GERMANY - OCT 20, 2010 does not count
Except for a pleasant bitterness there’s nothing special about this beer. The final note is very typical for a industrial produced Pilsener...slightly better than the german average but nothing worth to remember.

Bottle. A clear pale yellow beer with a large, frothy, fizzy, mostly lasting white head. The aroma is lightly malty and lightly hoppy, There are notes of grain/bread, grass, corn, some cooked vegetables, The flavour is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly sour, lightly bitter. Medium body, lively carbonation, dry long finish with medium bitterness, lightly unclean. Good for being an industrial product, correct bitterness, but a hints of vegetables and maybe also plastic/metal lower the score.

Svesse (6163) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - SEP 4, 2010
(Draught at Berliner Republik, Berlin, 23 July 2010) Golden yellow colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with notes of hay, grass and hints of tropical fruit. Malty, slightly fruity taste with citrus, grass, bread and hints of tropical fruit. Some grassy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, a bit too sweet. Drinkable, but a touch too much of macro character.

Gary (1398) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 6, 2010
my glass was a bling of golden sunsets of a june the 6th summers everning...with creamy clouds as its beer head.
I like this kinda Pils because its subtle in its effervesence . crisp, dry and malty .
Lotta grainy maltiness ,with that honey texture from the malt that I often detect in Pils’s. Woodiness ,like pencil shavings is nice in the raspy dryness . This beer is a tad waxy on the tounge. Some haystacks and late spice in the fin’.

Bottle at home. Clear golden pour, thick creamy white head. Aroma of German hops and slightly metallic. Flavor is slightly bitter, somewhat hoppy and crispy. Not bad.
