2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: MAR 9, 2006 Bottle. Poured a thin, very clear yellow with a thin white head. Hoppy smell, watery, watery, watery taste. Light, flat body with no finish, really a weak Pilsner, not bad, but quickly forgotten. Water - brush your teeth with this stuff.
Update (from tap): Had a few more of these, and though I do not retract any of my previous comments, and this beer remains somewhat thin, I did detect a much stronger malt profile and notes of bread. Taste more like a Helles than a Pilsener that night.[2.4]

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottled. Yellowish golden colour, small bubbly head. Hoppy nose and flavour with hayish hints. Quite boring.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Berlin - Simple yellow/gold pour, your basic pils feeling. Smells of hops and wheat, the flavor was watered down but it was a good taste.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
The aroma is sour with notes of straw. The color is light yellow and it has a collapsing white head. The flavor is dry hoppy and sour - if it wasn’t German I’d guess brewing cereal had been used.

1.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
(on bottle) Very forthcomming, malty nose and I dived right into this glass. But came up bit cocked. This haas a irritating acidicy to it.. A fresh drink, but sour.

1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Had this on draught a couple of weeks ago a late night in Berlin and it was absolutely awful!! Had it again yesterday from a bottle and it was still bad, but imo better than from draught. Pours a fine white head on a pale yellow body. Typical pilsener aroma of malt and hops. Thin flavor with flower tones. Easy forgetable.
