Round and soft, medium body, grainy, bit hay. Mild aroma has grain and amlt. Clear golden, short head, ok lacing, dry, slightly bitter. OK.

A real quality beer with good balance and fine foam crown. Nice crisp finish.

33cl bottle from Bon Voyage, Berlin. Pours clear pale golden with a small white head. Lightly malty aroma with hits of fruits, hops and spices. Quite ordinary German pilsner. Moderate sweet with a mild malty flavour and a quite decent bitterness in the finish. Refreshing and fairly decent.

Bottle. Pours yellow with a white head. Spicy maize aroma, medium dry nothingness in the mouth. I rest my case.

0.5l bottle. Not too much of an hoppy aroma but strong cereals. Pale light blond colour, with thin white head. Low flavour of hops. Light but lingering cereal malt flavour which is slightly unpleasant. Poor pilsner overall.

Just a normal german pils. MAybe a bit more watery than the standard, but it’s ok for a beer with friends.

Bottle from Getränkeland, Hvidovre. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, light grainy and light corn. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 091212

Pretty bad Pils. I’ve sampled quite a few German Pilseners now and this one might be the worst. Coors light flavor of stale hops and very watery to boot.

Pale clear candy yellow color with small lacing white foam head. Aroma is like a regular pilsener, taste likewise. Small sweet tones, bitter taste is dominating. Short crisp bittersweet aftertaste. (Moscow 201209)
