EHSRanders (811), Randers C, Denmark Jul 9, 2008 Bottle. Red colour with large creamy pink mostly lasting head. Fruity flavor with notes of rasberry. Sweet acidic flavor. Some sourness.
armando629 (573), Budapest, Hungary Jan 8, 2009 Discusting one. Like a bit of an overmatured and rotted strawberry. In the color of the body( but the head was nice lacing one), in the nose, in the flavor. Both are terrible, the strawberry kills the beer. Brrr. SkyCop32 (286), Morlautern, Germany Dec 21, 2008 Shared this with Oldrtybastrd. This is sweet as the syrup makes it too much too handle. This is not a beer but a fruit drink, maybe if you run out of wine coolers. Quack-Duck (2202), Bodensee, Germany Dec 16, 2008 bottle. Red colour, red-coloured head. Fruity nose. Sweet, perhaps too sweet. I prefer Berliner Weisse without anything added or with only a very small touch of fruit sirup. OleR (1434), Oslo, Norway Dec 6, 2008 500 ml bottle from KnutAlbert, thanks mate. Big dense ruby colored foamy head. Foggy red to ruby colored body. Crisp youghurty, candy-fruity aroma. Fresh, artificial red fruit flavored with a milky, acidulous twist. Superlight body. Refreshing. Hm, more please. xibalba89 (146), New York, New York, USA Nov 29, 2008 It’s hard to rate this as a beer... closer to an alcopop drink like sparks than to a real beer. Though maybe it makes sense to think of it like a cheap lambic. It pours a bright electric cherry red with a pink fizzy head. The aroma is full of raspberry. Pretty prickly on the tongue. Just not that complex, unfortunately. But I think I could see myself drinking it again. I think it’s better than the green, and maybe even better than the regular weisse.
