Just take the regular Berliner Kindl and add blackcurrant syrup to cut the sour/acidic taste. Turns a great beer into to a popcicle. Tatse is to sweet and fake. But not as bad as the green. blutt59 (2186), Dallas, Texas, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 28, 2009 It’s unclear, beautiful dark violet and the head is creamy and violet. The aroma has a lot of blackberries – it’s refreshing and inviting. The sweet flavor has a light berry sourness and loads of ripe blackberries with a dash of whipped cream. It’s a really pleasant fruit beer. KimJohansen (7308), Copenhagen V, Denmark
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Oct 31, 2009 Hazy purple with a huge pink head. Very sweet aroma with artificial black currants and bupple gum. Extreme candy sweetnes hit my tongue along with artificial black currants. Somewhat dry finish. Pity to ruin a Berliner Weisse like that. I bet a nice one would have come out using sour natural berries and loads of lacto. Yeah! Enjoyit (1786), Vadum, Denmark

| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Jun 7, 2009 bottle, pours a grape kool-aid color, like a watered down cloudy purple, with a thin white head. The aroma is very pungent, tons of black current, and a sugary sour background. Light wheat and sour malt, ends with a very sweet black current flavor that fades into a little bit of sourness, coming from the fruit. Overall too sweet for me. | 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Mar 21, 2009 Bottled. A purple beer with a purple head. The aroma is strong of black currant, while the flavor is very artificial with strong notes of black currant, leading to a dry tart finish. Cletus (5061), Connecticut, USA
