2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
330ml bottle (Rontgen Kauppahalli, Helsinki)
Hoorah, doesn’t looked fucked-up to me, so I’m not going to give it a bad look score. Being colour-blind rocks. Smells like apple crumble. There’s the flour, sugar, apple, raisins, and cinnamon - what have I missed from that recipe? Dude, that’s fucked up, but this is a hedonistic rating, and I like apple crumble. Taste has a bit of kiwi fruit, perhaps suggestive because of the increased acidity, but still some apple pie. More floury in the taste (hence pie rather than crumble). Quirky, and not as good as the glow-in-the-dark pink one (himbeere). Kinda messed up.

1.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bottle from McTapps, thanks Sabine. Pours lime green with a white head. The sickly woodruff syrup completely spoils the beer, which is a shame. Tastes like sugar water.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Unterdurschnittliches Biermoschgetränk. Der Waldmeistersirup dominier zu stark. Viel zu süss und pappig.

[6934-20141129] Bottle. Marzipan almond cake and baby diapers aroma. Hazy, light but vibrant green body with a quick foamy white head. More baby powder and marzipan almond flavour. Medium body is super sweet. Not a fan. (3/2/3/2/6) 1.6

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
2014-11-29. Bright "Jolly Rancher" green body with a small white head.
Sweet aroma of almonds and marzipan, the flavour is sweet almond and marzipan. Smooth average bodied palate, soft carbonation. Simple, not entirely unpleasant but I won’t be back for more. Bottle shared by Will
Overheard: "It smells like my grandma."

* Old rating, 0,33l-crown-top bottle, best before 12.06. 2,7%, Sehr süß und klebrig. Der Süßstoff mit dem Waldmeisteraroma dominieren das Bier, die Süße ist schon zu intensiv und klebrig. Lieber selber mischen...

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
330ml bottle. Pours a startling green with very think white / green head - quite a surprise. Aromas of vanilla and gooseberries. Incredibly sweet and syruppy, maybe too sweet. Not that pleasant to drink.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle at Bedford Beer Festival. Pours mint green(!) with very little head. Aroma of mint, charcoal, herb. A hint of what the unadulterated beer would be, but not much. Taste is lovely: sweetish sour and herby, but more like a radler than a proper ale. Shame that, but it’s still a decent drink. In it’s own way.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Berlin hotel bar. Pours bright green with green tinged head. Aroma seems a little absinthe. Med minus body. Kind of too sweet. Seems wormwoody - if old memories serve. Odd. But it’s growing on me.
