Berliner Weisse with the green Schuss included. Looks different than if the Schuss has just been added, but the Waldmeister (woodruff) syrup really tones down the Weissbier. Great summer beer.

Bottle at Scopey’s CBC Tune-Up. Truly strange neon green color with a small tight light green head. The nose is sugary play-doh, mold off the roof of a teletubby’s house. The taste is tart artificial green apples, pick and mix candy. Overly sweet and sickly. Overall, a truly bizzare drinking experience.

Bottle at my Pre-CBC Tune-Up Tasting. It pours unanatural light green, with a bubbly white head. The nose is quite vile indeed - artificial, herbal, medicinal and soem lime and tropical fruit. The taste is artifical sweet fruit (apple, pear and lime), herbal, sugar and tanginess, with a tangy-sweet finish - very similar to a Twister Ice-lolly! It’s an experience to try anyway, but not one I will repeat.

Danke an Patrick der mir dieses Berliner Kindl netterweise spendiert hat! Die Schaumkrone hält schlecht, es riecht stark nach Waldmeister. Geschmack ist auch süß-Waldmeister und kein Biergeschmack. Für ein Mischbier ok, nur schade das man wiedermal kein Bier rausschmeckt. Test vom 6.10.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,7,8,7,9,8 - 7,75

Definitely my favorite flavor of all the Berliner Kindl. It’s a sour beer with a very sugary syrup added, so it’s start out sour and finishes very sweet. The color is a bit off putting at first, but the flavor is delicious. It tastes a bit lemony, and a bit minty.

Had this beer some time ago, transferring data from database before Januar I was using to rate beer. As I drink this again I will add a complete review.

Thanks to beerbiker. Its original, thats for sure. Toxic green with a white head. Dominating aroma of almond essence. Sweet and lemon flavor, marchipan finish.

Clear green without head. Just like the green sodas I used to drink as a kid. Aroma is quite sweet, marzipan and cherries. Flavor is medium sweet and light acidic. Sweet finish. Watery. I had expected worse. 060112
