330ml Flasche. Pur ohne Sirup. Hell und trüb. Mittelgroße Schaumkrone. Geschmack sehr säuerlich, insgesamt schmeckt es eher wie Sekt als Bier.

[6932-20141129] Bottle. Light peas and straw aroma. Slightly hazy, pale white body with a quick foamy white head. Soured straw and potato grains flavour has a lingering sour aftertaste. Medium body is fairly sour. Interesting! (6/4/7/3/12) 3.2

Bowl. Bottle. Pale yellow, little hazy. White almost vanishing white head. No lacing at all. Very light aroma of straw, grains, but mainly dominated by sharp lemon and apple notes. Taste is sour (sharp lemon, some grapefruit). Dry, sharp, light body, above average carbonation, thin texture. In overall refreshing and crispy beer.

Bottle. Slight hazy pale straw with good sized bright white head. Lemon juice, dough, yogurt, some fresh cheese, pee. Pretty sour with almost no sweetness, just some doughy taste running through it. But bland but not too bad.

Vanskelig å vurdere men den var klar før den ble blandet med kirsebæesirup. Smakte da altså kirsebær.....

330ml bottle served in a tumbler glass (similar to a bowl). A: Pours a very pale yellow color. Slightly cloudy. Forms a medium to small fizzy head that disappears instantaneously leaving very few pointy lacings in the glass. Some thin particles can be seen in the liquid. S: Sour and fruity. Strong notes of apple, pear and lemon. Hints of sweet pale malts and wheat. A bit metallic. T: Slightly sweet malts in the upfront. Notes of apple, pear and lemon in the mouth. Notes of wheat. Quite biscuity. In overall, a very dry and acid taste. Strong carbonation. Metallic hints. Reminds a lemon juice with no sugar :). M: Very light body. Strong and fizzy carbonation. Acid and lemony aftertaste. O: Good drinkability. Most probably the most weird beer style I’ve ever had. Reminded me a little bit a Belgian Gueuze or a Flanders Wild/Sour. Interesting

0.5 l bottle from Berlin. Clody light golden color, average head, nice sour smell. Very intensive sour wheat aroma, like lemon juice. Very refreshing fruity taste, like citrus mixed with water. Citrus ending.

The first one in the style for me so I cannot compare. I enjoy the sourness and refreshing qualities. But compared to other sours like a lambic it is a bit one dimensional. There is sourness some citrus and very little malts and yeast in the flavor. Concidering the lowish scores this one has on ratebeer I am curious about the top performers in the style.

21.10.2014, 0,33l bottle shared with a colleague @ hotel room in Ulsteinvik:
Small fizzy mediumlasting head, very light color. Aroma is mild sour-ish grassy, wet grain, wet paper, grass, cereal, boiled vegetables, sorrel, minerals. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish, wet grass, sorrel, paper, wet hay, grain, berry skin. Little bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Very boring.

Bottle from SarkyNorthener cheers Martin; clear straw yellow pour with a thin white head, metallic aroma, taste has lemon sherbet, just a hint if sourness, refreshing and crisp.
