Although I have little to compare it to -- this being my first Berliner Weisse -- I found this beer very enjoyable. Nice and sour, acidic, and some light spiciness. Very refreshing. I will admit, I enjoyed it even more with the accompanying cherry syrup. But I could drink this happily with or without.

The description says it all. The color is off putting yellow, it is not a little sour, but almost comically sour and yet yes, you do get a very light bodied wheat bier at the same time, especially in the finish. Crossed my mind that the Gose of Leipzig may have been considered when they made this guy up. Similar sourness and flavor, minus the salt and coriander. Better with the syrups, but totally different without. Available basically anywhere in Berlin.

Flaske kjøpt i Berlin. Lys strågul, uklar. Kort hvitt skum. Sitron/limesyrlighet i aromaen og enda mer i smaken. Snerpende både i smak og ikke minst i ettersmaken, som er ganske kort og heftig. Ingen humlebitterhet å spore.
