500 ml bottle at home, into a lager glass. ABV 5% I had this in Berlin too but I lost my notes, glad I found another bottle. Clear golden yellow colour on the body, tall white head, thick and soapy with very good retention. Intense activity in the glass. Light lacing left behind after the foam has collapsed. Aroma of fresh straw, light grass, malts. Tastes the same, maybe a bit too malty, light bitterness on the finish along woth metal notes. Medium thin body, average carbonation. Quite dry palate. Overall okay, refreshingly nice.

Gyllengul öl med vitt skum. Doft av säd, lite gräs och maltig sötma. Något sötare än många tyska pilsner men ändå en trevlig bitter beska i avslutningen.

heavy (2116) - Split, CROATIA - MAY 30, 2014
09/11 0.5 l bottle courtesy of Marko, thanks for sharing! It poured golden body with small head. Weaker grainy aroma with touch of honey malt. Sweetish flavor, honey driven as well, a bit of grain and herbal hops, but not enough to balance its sweetness. Medium to full body for the style with yet shorter cardboard German pils finish. Rather ordinary, another boring macro pale lager in sea of these.
