Bitter with light bitter nute in palate. White foam, stays long. Light colour. Not a bad German pilsener.

Not my favorite pils. Overall, it’s pretty typical. Pours yellowish, clear. Fizzy head. Bitter, with slight metallic aftertaste. It’s the aftertaste that really did me in.

* Old rating, 0,5l-crown-top bottle, best before 08.05.01. Frisch-herbes, leicht süßliches Pils. Feinherb, nicht zu tief, sehr süffig. Ok.

Bottle, golden. Corny nose with a hint of dry grass, dry-bitter overtones, gassy, fairly simplistic, sehr typisch für ein Pils.

12.10.2014, tap @ Hotel Artim, Berlin:
Big bubbly mediumlasting head, very light color. Aroma is mild grainy, hay, dried grain, minerals, cereal. Taste is slightly dry grainy, hay, minerals, cereal, paper, almond essence. Medium bitterness, slightly dry harsh mouthfeel. So boring.

500ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours clear gold, short-lived white head. Aromas are cooked corn and metal. Taste is quite bitter, astringent almost. Dry finish. Ok.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - light golden with some head and gentle carbonation. Nose - corn and gentle herbs. Taste - nice combination of citrus and sweet malt. Palate - light to medium bodied with a dry lean texture and a long dry finish. Overall - a nice bitter but smooth German pils. Very balanced.

Bottle 0,5 litres. Light straw colour with thin head. Grains and some fruit in the aroma. Hoppy taste with long hoppy end as a pils. Some malt and fruit in the taste as well. Refreshing nice pilsner.

Bottle from a markt in Alexanderplatz in Berlin. Pours light gold with a slight white head. Light mixed hop/malt aroma. Med body, nearly. Flavor is rather bitter, quite hiding the mild malt. Guessing hop is a herb noble.
