Draught at Zur Gerichtslaube. Black with a creamy tan head. Pretty roast in the nose with some chocolate. Light body, gentle roast, surprisingly fruity but not all that sweet. Very light-bodied, creamy, suuuuper süffig! Neither of these two brewed for this restaurant show the flaws I normally associate with their brewer (Kindl).

Draught. Jet black with a cream head. Aroma of sweet creamy caramel. Flavour is light roast malt with a smooth sweet creamy mouthfeel. Finsh is sweet roast. Lovely

From tap at Zur Gerichtslaube. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan and creamy dense head. Aroma is roasted malty, breadish, caramelish, toffee and vague liqourice. Smooth mouthfeel. Lingering dark roasted malty to breadish into a smooth finish.

Clear dark brown color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, chocolate, fresh raisin and plum. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily and smooth, carbonation is soft. [20090918]
