Strong black lager. It’s a special dark lager produced from five types of malt with a striking full flavour and light bitterness. Its special flavour makes it unique on the Czech beer market.

Revo. I think this is what I’m drinking - whatever. Toasted malts, earth, bread, faint coffee and choco and sweetness thought out. Choco and ash and sweet bread, hints of dirty oranges. Quite dry with a soothingly soft finish.

Dark body brown head. Bready aroma. Sweet malty rate no hops. An okay Tmavy

Taste is sweetness, roasted malts and light earthy characters. Medium carbonation is bang on for a lager. This has a good deal of complexity, very good.

Flaska från en trevlig kollega. Nästan svart vätska med stort ljusbrunt skum. Tydlig chokladdoft. Smakar lätt rostad malt, choklad och kaffe. Något mild men riktigt riktigt god.

Bottle shared at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. As bernard Cerny Lezak. Very dark brown with beige head. A little roasty and toast aroma, dry, bitter taste and slightly roasty. Medium body, slightly dry finish. Fairly carbonated. Nice and drinkable.

Bottle. Dark brown, average and fully diminishing light brown head. Light to moderate malty and lightly sweetish aroma, some roasted malt. Body is light to medium, malty and lightly sweetish aroma with some roasted malt. Finish is short to average, malty and lightly sweetish, some roasted malt. OK lightly sweetish dunkel, nothing wrong – nothing special.

mikkellund42 (491) - DENMARK - MAR 12, 2014
Bottle as Bernard Cerny Lezak in Prague. Pours clear reddish brown with huge light brown foamy head. Aroma is sour appels, light hops (grass and citrus) and hints of sea breeze (?). Taste is light bitter, light sour and light sweet. Body is watery with good carbonation. Finish is medium long and light sweet with notes of caramel, brunt sugar and (too) thin black coffee. Very disappointing
