Dark lager with a fine yeast culture is an unpasteurized beer brewed from four types of malt, with a distinctive full taste and a fine bitterness. Its special flavour makes it unique on the Czech beer market. From Bernard´s family brewery portfolio this beer is the most recognized in Czech and foreign degustation competitions.

50 cl bottle from a random corner store, served in a tulip. Dark brown/dark amber with minimal tan head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is toasted, mild roasted malts, not a lot going on. Light to medium body, low carbonation. Taste is low on sweetness with medium bitterness. Texture is watery.

Brunatne, w refleksach rubinowe piwo o obfitej beżowej pianie, która redukuje się do cienkiego pierścionka przy brzegu szkła. Aromat ciemnych słodów, palony, lekko kwaskowy. W smaku lekka słodycz, paloność przełamana nutami chmielowymi. Goryczka średnia w stronę niskiej. Ogólnie udane piwo, wyraźna paloność i duża pijalność.

0,5 bottle. Pours dark brown color with medium to high off-white, mostly lasting head. Aroma of dark bread, roast. Flavor is light sweet, decent roast, prunes, caramel. Very "stout"-ish. Aftertaste is long and roasted, light coffee notes, light bitter. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Enjoyable dunkel.

Bottle - Dark brown colour, medium, long lasting tan head. Earthy aromas, chocolate, caramel, red fruits, roasted malts. Taste is sweet, toasted nuts, chocolate, slightly ashy. Medium body, smooth palate, average carbonation. Nice dark lager.

Flaska frĺn SB, mixpack. Riktigt mörkbrun med krämig skumpuck. Fin rostad doft med rĺgbröd, choklad och kaffe. Mjuk, rund, ganska torr fast att beskan är väldigt beskedlig, aningen jordig, lite metall i eftersmaken. Men smakbilden domineras av de rostade smakerna. Nötter, mörkt bröd, torr men inte besk choklad, milt kaffe, bark. Trevlig och perfekt till höstgrytan.

Bottle from somewhere in Prague. Poured a clear medium brown with a long lasting frothy light tan head. The aroma is earthy mineral yeast, light smoke malt. The flavour is moderate dry liqourice malt with a watery liqourice, light creamy caramel, light medicinal palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
