[Gift from Mia, bought on location.] Nice fullbodied dunkel with notes of smoke and a great aroma of fullfillness. Cream, malt, smoke, salami, bacon, chocs, dust and mmmmmmmmmm. To be resampled!

Many thanks to my Secret Santa :). The nose is great burned bread. The beer starts intense smooth roasted. Dry, bitter chocolate, milky espresso. Great. A smooth bitterness comes in and let the beer become even more round and great. Very dry, liquorice without sweetness, roasted chocolate malt, moderate bitter. Great!!

Tap at Veltins in Tbilisi, Georgia. Brownish black colour with a mahogany hue. Head thick and creamy, good retention and some lacing. Aroma is very nice: mildly roasty, with notes of red berries, nuts and black bread, slightly caramelly. Taste is similar with mild roastiness most present, balancing nicely with the sweeter tones of subtle red berries and nuts, and faint bitterness. Later on a tiny metallic tingle. Very smooth and soft on the palate. Carbonation present but rather discreet; body medium; finishes with a dryish ashy sensation. This is quality stuff. Never had it in bottle though.

Bottle 0,5l. Aroma is dark malt, toasted, caramel. Clear, dark brown colored, medium carbonated beer. Flavor is full and dry. Toasted, dark, caramel malt dominate, little yeasty tones, slightly sour, slightly bitter. Aftertaste is grainy and bitter.
Very well made dark lager, very tasteful.

Bottle 0,5l, dark ruby to brown color, medium beige head. Aroma of caramel, dark malt, coffee. Taste is dry, sour, little bitter. Again coffee, caramel, roasted malt, yeasty sourness. Aftertaste is short and little bitter. Medium smooth body, high carbonation because the additional yeast is working well (little explosive one)
After bad experiences with Bernad’s pale lagers it is nice surprise. Very tasty dark lager.

Láhev 500 ml. Aroma je zemité s lehkým nádechem karamelu a praženého sladu. Pěna je světle hnědá, jemná, vysoká a držící. Barva samotného piva je temně rubínová. Chuť je jemná, s lehkým nádechem hořké čokolády a kvasnic, finiš je středně kávově hořký a držící. V ústech pivo působí plně, má střední říz a je dobře pitelné. Jedná se dobrý tmavý ležák.
