Pours very dark with a lot of head. Not a lot of carbonation. Smell is weak, but pleasant. Taste is gentle, very rich, little roasty with a slightly carbonated soir aftertaste. A very very good beer.

Dark brown color, medium beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, dark fruits, hint of chocolate and coffee. Dry sweet taste with mildly bitter hoppy finish and roasty aftertaste. Medium body and average carbonation. Nice dark lager, very drinkable.

50cl bottle from Bohemia Deli T2, Prague Airport. Pours dark mahogany coloured with a beige head. Moderate aroma of dark malts with mild notes of chocolate, dark fruits, dark bread and hints of caramel, herbs and metal. Medium sweet with mild roasty flavours and a mild, but fairly balanced bitterness. Quite tasty and easy to drink, but not very memorable.

On tap in Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport, Terminal E. Pours darker than cola with a big, beautiful, creamy head that rises like a Guinness and stays forever. Nose is light grain and malty sweetness. Taste is light, sweet, and odd. Kind of a corn like note. Fairly flat on the palate. Not a big fan, but I wouldn't turn down a free one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Look; beige huge foam, ultra dark black-ruby body, clear. Aroma; dusty dark malts, cellar, chocolate, straw. Taste; fruity dark malts, spiced dark fruits, plum peel, liquoriced caramel chocolates - then a smooth finish in malts and dry dark fruits. Normal texture, soft carbonation. Overall a good blackbeer. Pours dark brown with a tan head that starts off big and dissipates into a thin layer. Aroma of caramel, roasted barley and biscuits. Taste is biscuity, sweet with just a hint of bitterness to finish it off. Quite a watery palate. Very drinkable.
