Pours deep mahogany with a medium, frothy, brownish head. Disappears relatively quickly. Aroma is lightly dry, medium roasted and light notes of berries. Medium carbonation, okay mouthfeel. Flavour is nicely roasted, light sweetness. Rather dry aftertaste. Quite nice. imdownthepub (3960), Banbury, Oxfordshire, Oxfordshire, England Jul 12, 2008 On tap at Uncle Paya’s, Plzen, 500ml. Mild dry and bitter. weaselkenievil (295), Cheshire, England Jul 6, 2008 Bottle from Tesco. I’m a sucker for a buy one get one free. I wasn’t impressed, seeing the high rating has encouraged me to have another go. I’ll reserve judgement till then as I hated it and found it to be metallic. Magic_dave6 (3536), London, England Jul 4, 2008 Tap at Uncle Paya. Alround rating: Roasted chocolate malts, theres a malty cola note, but not overpowering. Decent stuff.
