Strong black lager. It’s a special dark lager produced from five types of malt with a striking full flavour and light bitterness. Its special flavour makes it unique on the Czech beer market.

Benjii (1686) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 22, 2012
On draft at the 2012 NWAF, Manchester. Pours a black colour with a fair light tan head. Aroma of caramel, roasty malt, chocolate, grass and caramel. Fairly typical Pilsener flavours of grassy hops, caramel and alcohol with some roasty malt and burnt toast also. Moderate carbonation and quite dry to finish. A foamy mouth-feel and a little smoky also. Tasty.

Draft, 0.5l. Pours dark brown with average sized creamy brownish head. Roasted malt aroma prevails, while some coffee is noted, too. Sweet caramel malt flavour with light hoppy bitterness at finish. Medium to full bodied with oily texture and flat carbonation in palate. Proud member of the Bernard family :)

draft. sour and acidic roast heavy with milder plum and spice notes. medium body, sweet, simple and cola-like. disappointingly bad from a brewery who makes a stellar 12° svetly.
