Dark red brown with a very nice amber lacing foamy head.
Wonderfull toasted aroma - honey, chocolate and aromatic hops to balance.
Burned base flavor, fruityness (raisins, plums), bitter finish. Fullbodied, minerally berry aftertaste. My bottle was after its BB date, but that doesn’t seem to detract at all - quite the opposite actually.
rerate:
Slightly weird dusty ashen roast aroma.
Dark chestny, big golden brown foam.
Ok chewy dark malt base, restrained roastyness, a bit smoke, a few nuts and almonds
Medium body, a bit oily mouthfeel.
Leaves a burned caramel layer behind.

The Lure: Toasted bread and caramel from a great breakfast. Almost opaque black if not for some brown highlights at the bottom of the pint, rather rare for Czech dunkels.
The Festivities: Caramel links plums and raisins conveniently, as roasted malt bitterness soars beautifully. A pleasant full but svelte mouthfeel serves the dunkel purpose very well.
Transcendence: Mountains caverns are fun to cool off in summer. Cletus (5052), Connecticut, USA

I always thought pf them as a strict pilsner nation. Pours dark drown with a tan head. Smells nuts and yogurt with some spicey notes. Tastes of caramel with a great roasty malt finish. joergen (8523), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Opaque black (some brownish-red colour at the corners of the glass), with a two-tone head of white and light brown. Fair lacing. The aroma was a bit roasty with sweet grape notes and honey. Creamy taste with a subdued roastiness and faint dark malt bitterness. Considerable sweetness and only hints of noble hops combined with some fruity notes. Light to medium body with low carbonation. hammenlind (738), Sundbyberg, Sweden

Black, redish colour with a thick beige head. Malty, fruity nose. Sweet, slightly citric flavour with notes of raisin. Somewhat yeasty. Medium bodied. Quite good bitterness.
