Strong black lager. It's a special dark lager produced from five types of malt with a striking full flavour and light bitterness. Its special flavour makes it unique on the Czech beer market.

500ml bottle. Opens with a pop. Very dark, almost black, large tight beige head. Slightly perfumed malty aroma, a touch sweet and plasticky in places, but also some dry peppery elements. Pleasant carbonation in the mouth. Good burnt grainy taste, with dark and heavy hops too. Well balanced, and particularly good as it’s not sweet unlike some czech dunkels. Finish is both the burnt and hoppy components from the taste. Bravo Bernard!

Bottle from hugemongous Tesco Milton Keynes, 22-06-08 Pours dark brown with a tan head that is also rather creamy. This is damn tasty I wish I’d have picked up a few more. Liqorice, nice roasty flavours, even some decent dark chocolate very nice beer.

A great looking beer; brilliant head and colour. Aroma and flavour are burnt almost chocolateish.

Very dark amber color, almost black. Wonderful head. Aroma is roasted and malty, some cocoa. A dry and stoutish beer with a bitter finish.

very dark, nice head. Flavours reminiscent of roasted malt, undelined by a fruity hoppyness. Quite a dry beer, with its chocolate and coffee flavours it reminds me of stouts/porters.

Bottle, thanks larsga. Lovely fresh beer, the lager is laced with coffee and cocoa. Eas drinking, yet complex and multilayered. Close to a perfect lager.
