evilempire (119), sheffield, South Yorkshire, England Mar 5, 2008 one of the relatively few remaining unpasteurised brews in Czech, and one of the best. sampled draught and bottled around Czecho. the draught retains its head slightly better than the bottle. both have a smooth flavour, with a slight hint of toffee, but far from oerpowering. nice dry aftertaste.

Dark brown colour. Nothing spectacular. Very basic Czech Dunkel. Lots of nice tan head. Swing-top bottle.
Aroma: Roasted, dark malt. Dark fruit. Slight caramel.
Taste: A bit watery. Coffee, roasted. Dark malt. Quite good.
