cazort (376), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 1, 2008 (Bottle) Strong aroma of sour malt & hops. Pleasantly hoppy, although less so than is typical for a Czech Pilsener. Moderately bitter. No sour taste, in spite of aroma, and not too sweet. Different. Not bad! A pleasant change of pace from other Czech Pilseners...

Not distinctive, but ok. yespr (8540), Copenhagen O, Denmark Nov 26, 2008 From tap at Charlies. Pours clear and golden yellow with a lacing white head. Fruity and malty aroma. Flavour is mild butterish and distinct fruity flavoured with a light bitterness coming through. Light yeasty finish mixed with a medium sweet malt flavour. JonnyDr (132), , South Yorkshire, England Sep 29, 2008 Murky brown pour with creamy head. Almost flat. Delicious malty start with honey and spices leading to floral and caramel at the finish. Bottle green, 500 ml, 12 P, contains Zatec granulized hops and hop extract.
Appearance: Pours nice deep golden bofy with very, very gentle, visually almost non - existant carbonation and very low saturation, head is initially medium, slightly off - white, beige, nice lacing, head is frothy in texture.
Aroma: Very soft, refreshing, essentail and homogenous classic natural Bohemian Pilsener. Fat, juicy maltyness and gentle alcoholic character, pleasant barley accent and floral - medicinal, pronounced Zatec hops. Inviting and noble.
Flavour: Front seems well saturated, wattery, sandy, rough, clear, clean, crispy, refreshing, well balanced and brewed, gentle malty background, fresh, highly bitter hoppyness at front and floral, herbal hoppy nose with touch of tannin on the tongue. Very dry, finish duration is medium.
Palate: Body is light, texture is highly dry, carbonation on palate is moderate to lively, finish feel is chalky, grainy but clean and highly astringent, noble, decent and really good brew but I can’t believe that it’s an unpasteurized beer as its so clear.
