0.5l bottle from the Tesco at Filakovo. Nice white head with some sour bread-like aroma and a bitter taste. Quickly vanishing though. Strongly carbonated, dry bitterness moderated with some malty sweetness. Strong dry bitterness in the aftertaste. Obviously a decent pilsner style beer (a lot of hops) but I miss the fresh and spicy taste and aroma of the better pilsners.

City Humpolec; 11ooo inhabitants, city’s history from 1178 includes monastery, silver mine, clothes production, and the brewery Bernard established 1991, has its origin from the 16th century. Bernard Světlý Ležák 12°; a clear golden beer with bubbly diminishing off white head, almost no lacings, and inviting mild aroma of mild hops, sweet malts, flowers, meadowsweet, herbs and grass. Herbal taste, grass, fruity malts, minerals, flowers, hops, rubber, bitter, hops. Slightly oily on palate, smooth and easy. Finishes with bread, apple, hops, bitter, slightly dry. It’s not anonymous, and served chilled together with food, very nice beer indeed. [50cl green bottle abv4.7% BB070714, from Humpolec]

Draught @ Humlehof, Stockholm. Clear golden, off white head. Sweet bready aroma with a strawy grassy herbal bitterness. Sweet bready flavour with slight sugary caramel, some citrus, marked grassy/herbal/weedy bitterness. Medium, soft tickling carbonation, slight oily. Decent pilsner. A bit sharp weedy bitterness.

Backlog. Tried on a number of occasions. A decent Czech pils that i enjoy every time but never leaves a lasting impression.

Blond alive beer with a white fast disappearing head. Nose is malty with notes of herbs. Body is light, carbon medium, texture thin. Taste is bitter and sweet. Palate is dominated by malty tones and bitter bonbons. B@H

Bottle at Iron Monkey. Pours gold with a white head. Grainy pale malty base, crisp lightly floral hops, very faint metallic notes, and relative clean-ness in the finish. Not bad.

Нашёл фотку, где пил это пиво. Не помню его вообще. Значит безлико было как-то.

Aranysárga szín, vékony fehér hab, ami gyorsan elolvad. Közepesen szénsavas, közepesen testes. Illata friss, édeskésen malátás, enyhén fanyar. Íze lágyan édeskés maláta, utóíze keserédes, közepesen intenzív komlóval. Nekem a 11es harmónikusabb volt, jobban ízlett.
